Celebrating Our Language calls to:
Ensure that everyone in Wales can use the Welsh language in every aspect of their lives.
Protect Welsh as a community language.
Allocate additional resources from National and Local Government to ensure the prosperity of the Welsh language.
Implement the Welsh Language Act (2010) without delay, and prioritise setting standards on companies that fall under the scope of the measure as well as the Health Service and Local Government.
Create ‘Action Plans’ for the Welsh Government's Welsh Language Strategy.
Achieve the milestones in the Welsh Language Education Strategy ensuring that learners at all stages of statutory education can have full access and easy access to Welsh medium education and enure, through statutory duty, that Local Authorities measure the demand for Welsh medium education, and act promptly to meet those needs.
Ensure a prosperous and independent future for S4C and press for the Welsh Government to have legislative powers over broadcasting.
